About Us
We’ve always loved a reason to celebrate.
We’re Veasna and Michael, the couple behind Gather & Celebrate Events. We’ve always loved bringing people together. Over the years, we’ve celebrated everything from our kids’ birthdays to World Scrabble Day and even World Beard Day. We love coming up with ideas, creating the setup and, most of all, seeing everyone come together and enjoy it.
After hearing “You should start a party business!” from friends more than a few times, we finally decided to take the leap and turn something we love into Gather & Celebrate Events.
We’re starting with beautifully styled kids’ teepee sleepovers with a growing collection of themes and plenty more ideas we’d love to bring to life in the future.
It’s about more than the setup.
Of course, we want every party to look amazing. But for us, that’s only part of it.
It’s the kids getting excited when they first see their teepees. Staying up chatting with their friends. Sharing popcorn during a movie. Singing karaoke, taking silly photos, playing twister or spending the night building Lego creations together.
Those are the moments we’re really creating the party for.
We take care of the setup and pack-down, with thoughtful styling and little details throughout, so families can spend less time worrying about getting everything ready and more time enjoying the celebration.

Booking & Hire Questions
Everything you need to know before booking your teepee sleepover. If your question isn’t covered below, send us an enquiry and we’ll be happy to help.
Our package includes 5 beautifully styled teepees with comfortable mattresses, fresh bedding and cosy duvets, plus cushions, fairy lights and themed accessories. We deliver, style the full setup and return to pack everything down. Extra teepees are available for $45 each.
Send us an enquiry with your preferred date, suburb, theme and number of teepees. Once we confirm availability and your booking details, a $100 booking deposit secures your date. The deposit is deducted from the total package price.
The remaining package balance and the $100 refundable security bond are due 3 days before your event.
A $100 security bond is held during the hire period. We aim to return it within 2 business days after collection and inspection, provided all equipment is returned in good condition. Cleaning, repair, replacement or missing-item costs may be deducted, and costs above the bond amount may be charged separately.
Yes. We provide a full-service experience, including delivery, setup, styling and pack-down. We do not currently offer customer collection or DIY hire.
We service Sydney, with delivery included within our local delivery area. Other suburbs are quoted based on location and travel requirements. Send us your suburb or postcode and we’ll confirm any delivery charge before you book.
The space required depends on the number of teepees and your room layout. We may ask for room measurements and photos so we can help plan a suitable setup. Please have the agreed setup area cleared and ready before we arrive.
We’ll arrange suitable setup and collection windows with you before the event. A responsible adult must be available to provide access to the property at the agreed times.
All reusable bedding is freshly laundered, and our hire equipment is cleaned and checked between bookings so it is ready for the next celebration.
One booking-date transfer is available when at least 14 days’ notice is provided. The new date must be within 6 months of the original event date and is subject to availability.
To protect the bedding and equipment, pets, smoking, open flames, nail polish, slime, face paint and hair dye must be kept away from the setup. Food and drinks are not permitted inside the teepees except for agreed party items. Customers are responsible for the hired equipment during the hire period.
No. Gather & Celebrate Events provides party equipment hire, styling, setup and pack-down. We do not provide childcare or child supervision. A responsible adult must supervise the children throughout the hire period.
Yes. Gather & Celebrate Events holds $10 million public liability insurance.
Booking & Hire Terms

We want booking your teepee sleepover to be simple and clear. These terms explain how bookings, payments, cancellations, setup and the care of our equipment work.
Gather & Celebrate Events is operated by Veasna Costello, ABN 55 406 720 334.
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Gather & Celebrate Events. “You” means the person making the booking.
By paying the $100 booking deposit after receiving these terms, you confirm that you have read and accepted them.
1. Booking your date
Submitting an enquiry does not reserve a date.
Your booking is confirmed once we have agreed on the date, location, theme and number of teepees, and the $100 booking deposit has been received.
The booking deposit is deducted from your total package price.
2. Pricing, delivery and payment
Your quote will confirm the package price, number of teepees, selected theme, delivery requirements and any agreed extras.
Your quote will also confirm whether delivery is included or whether a delivery fee applies. Any delivery fee will be clearly stated before you pay the booking deposit.
The remaining balance and the $100 refundable security bond are due 3 days before the event.
Changes requested after booking are subject to availability and may affect the final price.
If payment has not been received by the due date, we may be unable to proceed with the booking. We will make a reasonable attempt to contact you using the details provided before cancelling the booking for non-payment.
3. Cancellations and date changes
If your plans change and you cancel the booking, the $100 booking deposit is not refundable because we have reserved the date and begun administering your booking.
Any other payments already made will be refunded.
Instead of cancelling, you may transfer your booking once when at least 14 days’ notice is provided.
The new date must be within 6 months of the original event date and is subject to availability.
This does not affect any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
4. If we cannot provide the booking
If Gather & Celebrate Events cannot provide your confirmed booking, you may choose either:
• A transfer to another mutually agreed date; or
• A full refund of all amounts paid.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
5. Refundable security bond
A $100 refundable security bond applies to every booking.
We aim to refund the bond within 2 business days after collection and inspection.
Reasonable deductions may be made for:
• Missing items
• Damage beyond normal wear and tear
• Stains or excessive cleaning
• Reasonable repair or replacement costs
If a deduction is required, we will explain the reason and provide reasonable supporting information, such as photographs or replacement costs where available.
The security bond does not limit your responsibility for reasonable cleaning, repair or replacement costs exceeding $100.
6. Preparing the setup area
The agreed setup area must be:
• Indoors, unless otherwise agreed
• Clean, dry and level
• Clear of furniture and personal belongings
• Free from hazards
• Large enough for the confirmed number of teepees
We may request room measurements or photographs before confirming the setup.
A responsible adult must be available to provide access at the agreed setup and collection times.
If the agreed area is unsafe or unsuitable, we will discuss reasonable alternatives with you where possible. We may modify or decline the setup if a safe and suitable alternative cannot be agreed.
7. Delivery, setup and pack-down
Gather & Celebrate Events provides delivery, styling, setup and pack-down.
Setup and collection times will be arranged before the event.
Please do not move, dismantle or relocate the teepees or electrical accessories after setup without speaking with us.
8. Looking after the equipment
Please take reasonable care of the hired equipment from the completion of setup until collection.
Please ensure children use the teepees, furniture and accessories carefully and only as intended.
To protect our bedding and equipment, please keep the following away from the setup:
• Pets
• Smoking or vaping
• Candles, open flames or heat sources
• Nail polish
• Slime
• Face paint
• Hair dye
• Other products likely to stain or damage the equipment
Food and drinks are not permitted inside the teepees unless agreed with us beforehand.
9. Cleaning, damage and missing items
Please tell us as soon as possible about any spill, accident, damage or missing item.
Do not wash, chemically clean or attempt to repair hired items without contacting us first.
Normal wear and tear will not be charged.
You may be responsible for reasonable cleaning, repair or replacement costs where loss or damage results from misuse, avoidable damage or failure to follow these terms.
These costs may be deducted from the security bond or charged separately if they exceed the bond amount.
10. Adult supervision
Gather & Celebrate Events provides equipment hire, styling, setup and pack-down.
We do not provide childcare, babysitting or child supervision.
A responsible adult must supervise the children and remain responsible for their safety, behaviour and use of the equipment throughout the hire period.
11. Insurance and consumer rights
Gather & Celebrate Events holds $10 million public liability insurance.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer right, guarantee or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
